I love youtube!! Check out the rainbow tights in the second clip ;D Justin Wiseniewski from portage is in one of the clips and gets submitted with a crazy move ive never seen and not sure how it even works. It looks like the guy grabs his foot with one hand like in a toe lock position and his neck in the other and tries to break him in half by bringing the two together... But i really have no idea.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=msbTmYZJfoQ

that Wiseniewski one looks like some kind of ashi garame but he's using the guy's head for leverage or something. I dunno it seems like it'd be easy to power your leg out of the guy's grip.

Uhh, so I just choked a purple belt out in class last night. As in, he was asleep in my guard with his head on my chest, twitching and gurgling for about ten seconds till he woke back up. It was a little creepy (though Im patting myself on the back for the accomplishment).
Anyone else ever done this?

Congrats!!! Ive never choked anyone completely out before But I saw a kid get choked out in our beginner judo class it was pretty sweet. I saw another kid get choked out at a party with a lot of judo guys. He asked my coach to choke him out (thinking he wouldn't). and he got choked out it was pretty funny.

Dude that's awesome! I gotta catch up to you now I made a semi-partial return to the mats last night...Just for fun I tried a new school. It was alright, but nowhere near intense enough for my needs. I'm not even sure what I was learning, hahaha. I think Monday I'm gonna head back to Pat's. In high school my friends and I used to choke each other out for fun. My one friend when he passed out started smiling real big and poking himself in the face for a few seconds before waking up. Hah..it probably wasn't the safest thing in the world, but hey. Better than huffing freon or something.

Yeah, that doesnt sound safe.
What school did you try? Pats was always pretty good. Dont let the white belts fool you. Its difficult to get ranked at Pats sometimes, since he cant do it himself till hes got his black belt. There are guys with white belts that would defnitely be blues at other schools.

I forget the name of it...it's in valpo next to McDonald's and across the street from Taco Bell, kinda by Town n country market. They had "Judo" written on the window but they don't have a judo class... The instructor said that he knows Carl, Tony, and Shawn, I forget his name too though.

oh yeah i know those guys, they do hapkido and taekwon do, i also went to a seminar of there that taught some Russian martial art which name escapes me right now. it was John George is one of tony's black belts in jujutsu or maybe it was Mr. England I get them confused. I would suggest pats also, especially for the price.
The russian art was systema! the conditioning drills where the best stuff in the whole seminar though.
