This is something I'm always curious about. Peoples Intetions in training in martial arts. I dont think theres any right or wrong answer, the reason you train is just that, theres no right or wrong reason for it, whats important is that you train I'm sure there are a lot of you that train for a couple of these reasons, myself included. Try to pick the 1 factor that drives you the most to train.

I picked so that I can become a better teacher. Thats why I continue to train. I first started training to learn to defend myself, and the reasons for my training have changed many times since I first started.

i am trying to learn movement in body for my art, but.... you didnt have that. ^_^ most of others are true for me too.^_^
