I saw an ad at the Chesterton burger king today, here's what I recall from it: Duneland Classic IV Sat. June 17th @ Portage High School $25 adults, $10 or $15 for kids under 14 I don't remember exactly Doors open at 6, starts at 7:30.
Carl suggested I got to 3, which I did, and I enjoyed it. Though this time I was thinking it'd be fun to get a group together to go with. Any takers? Going by yourself is lame. Just ask me.

Yeah, im all about going with a group. Perhaps we should meet somewhere first then go to the event. Im also all about duneland classic, althought the last one wasnt quite as entertaining as the ones before there were still some pretty good fights.

Well I might have to back out....I'm not sure, my mom just came into town from Alabama and I haven't seen her in quite a long time...I might drag her along with my step dad, haha...they'd probably be bored to tears. I dunno man I'll letcha know for sure at the latest saturday at class. I'd really like to go though.

I'm going for sure. I won't be able to make this Saturday's class (goin to Bloomington to visit Maggie P. and Joe Turnow tonight), so lets meet up or something before the fight. I'm not sure where it is in Portage.

I think Carl should pick the time cuz he knows when to go to get good seats....and I was thinking we could meet at some random fastfood place on highway 6 at whatever time, like the burger king in south haven or the portage pizza hut or something. I might bring my girlfriend too, I just gotta pull her out of the closet and inflate her. hahahaha

alright well lets meet at the burger king at like 6:00 then well go to the high school. If we get ther early we be able to get great seats, the only bad thing about that is we have to be there for an hour and a half before it starts. Oh, I would suggest bringing like a boat cussion or something soft to sit on because the seats are just wood bleachers which get uncomfortable after awhile.

Anyone see that tooth come out during the heavyweight/fat bastard fight? Kinda gross. Otherwise, damn good show.

Didn't see no tooth, but I did see a lot of shenanigans in that fight, I think it might be impossible to knock out the Haitian Sensation, hahahaha. And yes, darn good show. 5 times as exciting when you understand fighting and grappling/BJJ. The last one I was just like "yeah this is cool, but every fight is just punch kick punch kick grapple grapple grapple". This time I was just like "oooh lookit that takedown, oooh that was a nice block, oooh man he's going for the armbar oh OH OH OH he got out of it! GO GUY I'VE NEVER HEARD OF! YOU TOO OTHER GUY! Keep your hands up jackass!"
Favorite line of that night: "I could drive a truck through that gaurd! Honk honk!"

That "handler" dude had a mouth on him, but I would have liked to see him fight again. He just dominated. He went from toe-to-toe to standing BEHIND the guy in a few seconds. Then it was straight to mount, where he went ape-poop on the guy's head till they stopped it.

Yeah he was pretty darn good, I liked that Carl Wisnewski guy too, I watched him get popped in the face/mouth a few times and he didn't even flinch, hell even BLINK. Talk about psyching out your opponent.

Anybody notice that Kolosci from Ultimate Fighter yet? We all saw him fight in the main event at this Duneland Classic. He fights out of Duneland Vale Tudo. When I saw him on TV, I was like, oh $#it! I know him! Go Kolosci!
I just remember thinking "that guy can bang!" I wasn't disappointed with his quick victory in episode 3.
